Picture 1 Kurt sent me an email letting me know that Slacker has released their previously announced streaming radio client for the BlackBerry. Kurt m'a envoyé un courriel me faisant savoir que Slacker a publié précédemment annoncé leur client de streaming radio pour le BlackBerry. I had a chance to try it out for a few minutes and IT WAS AWESOME! J'ai eu la chance de l'essayer pendant quelques minutes et IT WAS AWESOME! The stream started practically instantaneously on 3G. Le flux a commencé quasiment instantanément sur les réseaux 3G. The install is pretty hefty at about 1.1 megabytes but is definitely worth it. L'installation est assez lourdes à environ 1,1 méga-octets, mais il vaut vraiment la peine.

The best part is that this Slacker app lets you cache stations to your SD card for listening later!!! La meilleure partie est que cette application vous permet de Slacker stations de cache sur votre carte SD pour les écouter plus tard! This will be great for my morning commute with spotty reception. Cela sera très bien pour mon trajet du matin avec la réception boutonneux. The only requirement seems to be OS 4.3 or better so make sure you have that!     i used to be resigned to the thought that blackberry would never have a stable radio app. J'avais l'habitude de se résigner à l'idée que le BlackBerry ne serait jamais une application radio stable. i was sorely wrong. J'ai été cruellement faux.

    Looks awesome but it only works in the USA not in CANADA. Looks awesome mais il ne fonctionne que dans les Etats-Unis pas au Canada.
    Come on people when you post this stuff make sure you say its work in different countries! Come on people, lorsque vous postez ce genre de choses assurez-vous que son travail dans des pays différents!
    I dont like downloading it to find out it doesn't work after you sign up. Je n'aime pas télécharger de découvrir qu'elle ne fonctionne pas après votre inscription.

      We cant post what we didn't know… Nous ne pouvons pas envoyer ce que nous ne savions pas ... :) Thanks for reporting that it does not work in Canada. Merci de nous signaler qu'il ne fonctionne pas au Canada. I guess they are keeping it US only for now. Je pense qu'ils sont le garde des États-Unis uniquement pour l'instant.

        Works like a charm for me. Fonctionne comme un charme pour moi. Until Pandora decides to come out with a BlackBerry version, I'm all over Slacker for now. Jusqu'à Pandora décide de sortir avec une version de BlackBerry, je suis partout Slacker pour l'instant.
        PS: it does say it works only in the States…I'm glad someone confirmed that. PS: il ne dit qu'il ne fonctionne que dans les États ... Je suis quelqu'un heureux de le confirmer.

    Awesome App!! Awesome App! I've been waiting for Pandora to release this a while back when I learned that they had an app for the iPhone. J'ai attendu pour Pandora pour libérer ce tout en un dos quand j'ai appris qu'ils avaient une application pour l'iPhone. It essentially the same thing, personalized internet radio. C'est essentiellement la même chose, la radio Internet personnalisé. I just got back from the gym listening to Slacker and it works great. Je viens de rentrer de la gym écoute de Slacker et il fonctionne très bien.

    However, a few things i'd like to see in the next update: Toutefois, un certain nombre de choses que je voudrais voir dans la prochaine mise à jour:

    - better response time… the application is a little laggy when scrolling through… - Meilleur temps de réponse ... La demande est un peu de lag lors du défilement d'...

    - have the mute button on blackberry to work when listening to slacker - Avoir le bouton de sourdine sur le BlackBerry pour travailler à l'écoute de Slacker

    - implement autoplay when a call comes in, the music stopped when i recieved a call, but after i was off the call, it didnt autoplay. - Mettre en oeuvre lecture automatique quand un appel arrive, la musique s'est arrêtée lorsque j'ai reçu un appel, mais après je partais à l'appel, il na pas de lecture automatique.

    I know this is the first version, so i cant expect too much, just a couple suggestions! Je sais que c'est la première version, si i cant trop attendre, juste quelques suggestions!

    Glad my first news tip could be for such an awesome app! Glad mon pourboire premières nouvelles pourraient être d'une telle app awesome! I never thought there would be a good radio streaming program for the berry. Je n'ai jamais cru qu'il y aurait une bonne radio streaming programme pour les petits fruits.     Unfortunately, I have to report that this app is not currently available for the Storm. Malheureusement, je dois signaler que ce soft n'est pas actuellement disponible à la tempête.

    The caching feature is great. La fonction de cache est grand. Overall the app works well but is laggy and a bit glitchy. Globalement, le PPA travaille bien, mais est lag et une Glitchy bits. Some cached songs end in mid song. Quelques chansons mises en cache dans la chanson fin mi-parcours. It crashed my curve three times. Il s'est écrasé ma courbe à trois reprises. It also seems difficult to get stations cached but I got it working. Il semble également difficile d'obtenir des postes de cache, mais je l'ai eu de travail. Still, its a great first effort. Pourtant, c'est un premier grand effort. Hopefully the next point release will improve things. Espérons que la prochaine version point permettra d'améliorer les choses.

      I'm sure that Canada will follow soon. Je suis sûr que le Canada va bientôt suivre. Why would anyone target RIM customers and fail to include Canada? Pourquoi serait-on cibler les clients de RIM et de ne pas inclure le Canada? I wonder why they limit it by country. Je me demande pourquoi ils le limiter par pays.         They must have copyright agreements with American companies and/or clauses that restrict “distribution” (broadcasting) of the content in other countries. Ils doivent avoir le droit d'auteur des accords avec des sociétés américaines et / ou des clauses qui restreignent la "distribution" (diffusion) du contenu dans d'autres pays. They may eventually extend coverage to other countries or not, either way I'm sure it's not entirely up to them. Ils mai éventuellement étendre la couverture à d'autres pays ou non, de toute façon je suis sûr que ce n'est pas entièrement à eux. Most music in the world isn't free, it's owned by people and corporations that get to decide who is allowed to listen to it. La plupart des musiques dans le monde n'est pas libre, il est possédé par les personnes et les sociétés qui auront de décider qui est autorisé à l'écouter.

    I have tried a zip code and(No Go) it knows your phone is from Canada. J'ai essayé un code postal et (no Go), il connaît votre téléphone est du Canada.
    I think it knows by your email info? Je pense qu'il sait par votre email info?

    It mostly works but is buggy as heck. Il fonctionne principalement, mais est buggé as heck. It crashes my phone when I try to restart play after a mail chime or call stops it. Elle s'abîme mon téléphone lorsque je tente de reprendre le jeu après un carillon électronique ou un appel qu'il s'arrête. I have to skip a song to get it to play again without rebooting my phone. Je dois sauter une chanson pour le faire jouer à nouveau sans avoir à redémarrer mon téléphone.

    The other annoyance is that it takes like 40 seconds to shut it down. L'ennui est que cela prend comme 40 secondes pour l'éteindre.

    I hope the can streamline the app and address the bugs soon. J'espère que le peut rationaliser la PPA et de traiter les bugs bientôt. I was considering the paid service but not with this much weirdness. Je me demandais un service payé mais pas à cette étrangeté beaucoup. I might not bother with it again until the next version. Je risque de ne pas s'en préoccuper à nouveau jusqu'à la prochaine version.
