Google Mobile Asking For Your Ideas – Vote Them Up Or Down

googleideas Last week Google posted a article asking users to post ideas for their mobile apps in their new product ideas website. You can suggest and idea or vote up or down a existing idea. Personally I will be voting for login support to Google Maps for BlackBerry. :) I personally think that RIM should also have a page for users to submit ideas…

You can submit your idea or vote for somebody else’s idea at:

You can also read their post asking for ideas or the blog they setup for the new ideas application.

I think it is great that Google is taking an interest. My concern is that they are getting a lot of ideas that they don’t have to generate themselves (that they will in turn make money from).

Also Google already controls a lot of cyberspace. I would like to see other companies involved in the development process.

  2. I’ve posted a great suggestion a couple of weeks ago, and my idea, as well as the voting has disappeared.

I was asking for flatrate mobile phone calls worldwide.:-)

  3. canuckinnh, any good product takes user feedback to enhance the end user experience. Would you prefer they solicit no feedback and put out permanently faulty programs? You also whined about Google controlling a big portion of cyber space. Unfortunately, providing a suite of programs for millions of users costs millions of $$$$.
