Developer: Bibly Cost: Free

loveBB let me know that BilbyFile, the free file manager we mentioned before, now supports practically all the OS 4.3+ devices. They now have two versions their is a free BilbyFile Lite which is at version 0.9.3 and a BilbyFile 1.5 which costs $3.99. Not sure exactly what the difference is between them since the free version worked just fine.

  1. I think the difference is that the full version let’s you tag multiple files to perform on operation at once like copy, del, move by “starring” the files.

Moving a bunch of files one by one gets tedious but you can always do it when tethered.

  2. Despite not being listed, Lite DOES work on 8830 (running unofficial 4.5).

Is good but i can’t see the device memory files. I saw the SD card files perfectly fine.

it will probably let you see device memory files only if you actually put anything into the device. it wont let you see stock/default system files if that is what you are trying to see.

this program is pretty useful, but what would make it better is if you can actually select a file to open instead of just being able to do these edits.

  4. Nice app. I just hope they update it for the Storm. Compatibility mode is fine and all, but an app for the Storm would be better.

Hmm…a minor niggle but I hate the icon. Looks too much like Facebook… :(

Don’t get it. Not much different than native BB file manager. Wish it allowed you to open a file.
