For all you MacBerry addicts out there, this piece of news is bound to bring a smile to your face. BlackBerry has released a downloadable preview version of their BlackBerry Media Sync for Mac.
Have test driven it on my 8220 Pearl and it is working great.
To download it for yourself head over to : http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/media/mediasync.jsp

Ok, so I d/l the file go to install on my MAC and it says it will disable my sync software namely PocketMAC (and/or MissingSync). So how the hello does RIM expect a MAC user to sync contacts, calendar etc. without those two apps?

PocketMac still works. (This is just a Media sync program, and doesn’t seem to be affecting the PocketMac syncing of contacts/calender/etc)
Have not tried with any other device except the Flip yet but will test out and let you know.

I am trying to sync a Pearl 8100…during sync, mine hangs forever on the “Removing songs…” part at the start of the sync and goes no farther. Anyone else having similiar issues?

I get the error message “This software does not support your current operating system – Please upgrade to the latest version.” I have a Macbook running OS 10.4.11 and have no updates to install.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt
