VipBirthdays – Know Who Was Born When – But Why?
I don’t mean to belittle the developer but VipBirthdays is proof that “if you build it they will come.” When I first heard about this application that tells you what famous people were born on what day I doubted anybody would be interested in it. Turns out that the application has been out a week and people are buying it. Go figure. I guess there is a demand for having an archive of 20,000 famous peoples birthdays on your BlackBerry. I actually posted this as a question to ask why anybody would want to know such information? VipBirthdays is a nice little application that displays a list of famous people born on a specific month/day in the past. When launched it automatically sets the date on today’s date, but you can select any other date you want. You can also search a specific VIP by partial name. $4.99 it is not pricey but there really is nothing to compare it with.
