blackberrymediasync2 Jdellasala on PinStack spotted a new version of Media Sync in the wild. The new version supports Album art and now also supports Windows Vista 64-bit edition. They also added a few more languages; namely Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Simplified Chinese, & Turkish.

You can pick up the latest version at this link. Check out the knowledgebase detailing the new version at this link.

From the knowledgebase:

Import album art from your iTunes library to your BlackBerry smartphone by clicking the Import button in the Welcome to BlackBerry Media Sync dialog box, which opens when BlackBerry Media Sync 1.1 starts for the first time.

Note: When you click Import iTunes is launched, the iTunes album art library is created, and the album art importing process is started and completed.

To change the settings for importing the iTunes album art library, go to the Options menu in BlackBerry Media Sync 1.1.

Note: The last date that album art was imported is listed beneath the Import button.

  1. That’s odd. The version that I’ve been using for a while now has imported album art from somewhere automatically. Not sure if it came from my computer or over the air.
