Tips & Tricks: Removing A SIM Card Easily From Your BlackBerry
One of the annoying steps you need to take to switch a BlackBerry device is to remove the SIM card. Since the 8700 series the SIM card has gotten harder to remove and requires some finesse or fancy finger work to get out. The 8800 gets my award for being the hardest to remove.
I either use my wife’s tweezers (don’t tell her) or a pencil eraser to massage the SIM card out but TimB gave me a great idea on how to make things even easier. Just cut off a small piece of scotch tape and place it on the protruding portion of the SIM card. Then just pull slightly up and out and your done!
Let me know if you have any other quick and dirty BlackBerry maintenance tips! I am still looking for one to clean my trackball on my Bold.
