Yup they fixed the APN configuration now And they added a checkbox to disable the APN (ie you know you will roam to another provider, and you just have BISB service for international roaming), now you dont have to dis-configure your APN, you just ‘disable’ it
I installed 4.6.0.210 and when I checked the version on my Bold it said version 4.6.0.167, Can someone help me and tell me what am I doing wrong.. please!!
Downloaded the new version and now the app ‘itookthisonmyphone’ will not connect. I reinstalled the latest version and did a batter pull. Still no luck. Any idea? Anyone else experiencing this.

The only thing I don’t like ( and its big for me cause I use it for media) is that with all the previous versions (up to .185) in the pictures you could type in a folder and it would go to that folder
Still there is a language problem for Japanese; no input method is provided (but BBJapanese is installed so that there is no problem on displaying Japanese characters.) Otherwise it’s great.
Just upgraded from .167 to .210 with no issues. One good thing I noticed is that in the BB browser on .167, I had trouble going from one input field to another (using trackball to move cursor to another field). With .210 this issue is gone.
Here is a good guide when updating the blackberry bold os:
1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps.
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It’s located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.
the beta OS’s it doesnt matter if you dont delete the vendor file its only an offical OS from another prodvider when you try to put on your BB thats where the vendor file must be deleted
I-m from Vzla too, I just bought my Bold I know it’s been a long time since it got out, but in Vzla we have a BB shortage, with my 8310 I just keep update until the last version but now I’m newbie, do you recomend to do the update? I mean can anybody mention what are the differences between this update an the OEM version 162?
Again many thanks for taking your time to answer me.
Sorry to bother you but I just bought the Bold and my previous BB was an 8310, here we have a shortage of BBs, but any way I got one, and I would like to know if it is possible what is or are the difference between this update and the OEM version .162?
Again thanks in advance for having the patience to answer me.
I have some problems with this OS:
- bluetooth connections some times is not working propreply (I hear but my interlocutor doesn’t hear me)
- some times the buttons of my cell phone doesn’t work and I must to restart it
- charging time is 3 hours instead of 2 hour on .190
Now I am sure that .190 was better than .210
On .210 except the problems that I have already mentioned above I have also problems with battery life time (only 1 day instead 2 days) and another problem is that the light of the screen is permanently on when the phone is charging …
I hope another OS will came soon …
Awsome!!! I wasn’t going to get 201 because of the issues …. But I’m downloading this one now …. Hopefully it fixes a lot
THANK YOU!!!
Can somebody upload to rapidshare…thx
Great! Thanks a lot!
)) This should be good release. Battery, font issue, and much more. THX again Agent 009
)
Hopefully it fixes the APN problem I had on .204, for some reason it wouldnt save the value I entered…
downloading it asap before RIM takes it down
:p

battery life is great on this build, best Bold OS so far

Exactly like FuX … I forgot to delete vendor file (it’s first time after 4 OS updates) but seems everything it’s ok …

Sorry for the doubling posting….
Though it says all language but my Thai font doesn’t work.
This actually fixed a bug on the buggy AT&T NAVIGATOR that was making it to reboot every time spoken directions were given. Nice OS!!!

- some times the buttons of my cell phone doesn’t work and I must to restart it

I noticed that my alram went off with no sound and then realized on the vibrate alerts are going off no sound out of any tones. Anyone else have this?
Now I am sure that .190 was better than .210
