Visual Arts App – Automatically Changes Your Storm Wallpaper

Tashanna let me know about a cool app that they good guys at ToySoft just released. It is called Visual Arts and is sadly only for the Storm. It automatically changes your wallpaper/background on your BlackBerry based on a user configurable timer through pictures in a certain folder. Sadly there does not seem to be a trial but at $4.95 in the store its not very pricey. I wish this could also be done for the Curve and Bold… Maybe it is only available on the new OS 4.7.

From the description:

Visual Arts will automatically change the wall paper on the Home Screen randomly from a picture folder. You can assign a timer interval to change the picture from 5 seconds to 6 hours.

Optionally you can tell Visual Arts to change the wall paper whenever you turn on the Storm.  You can also set pictures for Low and Good battery conditions.  This is a good way to tell if the battery is low.

Is it just me or several applications have been released for the Storm only lately?

  3. Where can I find WallpaperShuffle?!?

  4. Visual randomly picks a wallpaper. it could be that wallpapershuffle just cycles thru all the pics.

the problem with the default pic shown has been fixed in 1.1.

v1.1 also adds Digital Picture Frame feature so that the LCD will never turn off. this is great when you are at home or in the office. just plug into the charge and let it run.

new v1.1 can be found in the app store or on our site http://www.toysoft.ca
