Does this version have chinese/japanese language on it? Do I have to look for an East Asian version?
Thanks

Javascript loading seems much faster. Can load heavy sites in far less time.

This version includes all major Asian languages, including a huge number of input alternatives.
My only problem with it so far is RIM has removed BBAlpha Sans font, and we’re now stuck with the stick-looking fonts from the pre-Bold days.
At least the blue blob on the clock screen (first seen on 194) is gone now.

So is it better than .190?
That one was extreemly buggy on my phone

Hate that Alpha Sans font is gone. Hopefully it will return in later builds. Seems to run smoothly. Windows Live Search STILL doesn’t work…

Confirmed that this version has all east asian languge support, so far so good, I noticed more available memory than the v190.
It also solved the problem in v190 where sometimes the blackberry browser can’t click on links.

So. I took the chance and installed it this morning, and within 10 min. I uninstalled it because of that Font Issue, it just made the Bold look so Dull.

Much faster than the v190 when loading apps, solved the problem on the browser where links aren’t clickable, also more available memory than the v190

its just you, i got memopad its in the Applications folder.
It sucks about the fonts i liked the BBAlpha one, instead im using BBClarity which doesnt look to bad.
Memory seems to be improved a lot as well, got like 30mb free more now then on .190 firmware.. so far so good.

I have gmail on mine and it works flawlessly…
@Astral, i think it is just you… I have the memopad on mine, be sure to click the advanced options when upgrading, that will allow you to recheck which apps you want installed and which apps you want uninstalled..
Anybody have the link for the v210? People are saying that the BBAlpha font is restored in that version… Link us up!

I downloaded the update and deleted the vendor file. However, when I attach my Bold, it shows the update. I click next and then it says “No Update Needed.” I’ve updated devices many times, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. HELP

Looks like someone did a review on the other new OS on a forums site…. and they said the font issue was fixed.
Am i missing something?

alexander you are correct as they are stating that the new version corrects the font issue, but others like me probably don’t have access to the new version yet. Waiting on berryreview to post it…

I haven’t had any issues with the APN. I had to go from 4.7dm to 4.6dm for my computer to recognize the upgrade, no idea why.

The APN issue can be resolved by doing the same as done to fix the font issue… It works, I’m using it now.

Go to post #14 to get the file and load the same way as the instructions state for the font.
Please berryreview give us a link to .210!
