This is only a receiver. It does not give you turn by turn directions. You’ll need to download mapping software in order to use the Keychain GPS.

The turn by turn directions over speaker of BB will be done by the software of your choice (Google Maps, Garmin Mobile, etc.). This is just the hardware portion of it. As the article mentions, you will need a GPS/Maps software.

So this gives u turn by turn directions over the radio or speaker of the BB?

I have had mine for over a year and I love it! I haven't had any problem with connecting to it or using it with my BB. The battery is great and lasts a long time. It is also nice that it charges while you use it in your car.

A side note; I used this with my laptop and Microsoft Streets without a hitch.
