MySpace App Hits Record Breaking Downloads – Storm Version Coming Out Nov 24th
The MySpace application that RIM released last week broke records for both RIM & MySpace. The app has been downloaded over 400,000 times in the last week which is an all time high for both RIM and MySpace for application downloads in a week. Pretty impressive that this beat out Facebook, Gtalk, & BBMessenger and the iPhone MySpace app.
Since the launch, users have sent and received more than 15 million messages and updated their mood and status over two million times. I guess that makes MySpace pretty popular with BlackBerry users. Surprised me.
As an added bonus RIM dropped the fact that the Storm version of the app will be coming Nov 24th.
