One problem I face with most themes is that "level 1" messages don't show up in red. I have a filter set up that takes all messages where my name is in the "to" or "cc" field and forwards them with level 1 notification. This makes them show up in red and let's me adjust my profile to make a different sound for messages that hold more relevance. I get hundreds per day.
