Seidio Opens Pre-Order For 3500mAh Extended Battery For Bold – More Than Double The Battery Life
Seidio let me know that they have started accepting pre-orders for their upcoming 3500mAh battery for the Bold which will ship Nov 28th. That is more than double the standard 1550mAh standard battery!!! The only downside is that it requires a new back cover that extends the back of the device 5-6mm. The included back cover is rubberized which some people may appreciate and it will still fit into Seidio’s holster since the phone is face in.
They have it on sale now during the pre-order intro period for $64.95 instead of the standard $69.99.
Seidio also has a 1650mAh battery that is the same size as the RIM OEM battery but that only adds about 15% from the stock 1550mAh battery.

From the looks of it, I need a 5000 mA battery to get something reasonable for 2 days….right now the one I have doesn't last a DAY….
RIM, I'm ashamed….
5000 for 2 days? my extended battery 1700mAh runs for 6-7 hours, I’d say 5000 mAh would at least get me through the day.
The batteryuse on this one is the worst I’ve had in all my smartphones. 3500 mAh will not do the trick for me. Waiting for that 8000 mAh battery….
