Google Releases ALX & JAD/COD Files For Google Maps, Search, & GOOG411 – BES Admins Can Now Push It Out To Users
Google released the ALX and JAD/COD files required to install Google Maps. This is meant to allow BES and IT administrators to put Google Maps on their internal servers for installation. It also allows them to push it out to all the devices connected to the enterprise BES.
The extra perk is that this now gives us plebeians access to the desktop installation of Google Maps, Search, and GOOG411.
You can pick up the instructions and the install files at this link:
www.google.com/mobile/gmm/bes.html
NOTE: The links to download the Google Web Search application and GOOG-411 are at the bottom of the page.
