RIM Launches The Curve 8900 (AKA Javelin) On T-Mobile Germany
So I guess we are ending up with a 8900 Curve instead of a Javelin. I am really starting to hate how RIM recycles the names for newer devices. Just leads to confusion.
RIM announced the 8900 out in Germany on T-Mobile. Don’t get excited about these coming unlocked to the US since Germany uses a QWERTZ keyboard instead of a our usual QWERTY keyboard. (Really screws with your head)
Just to remind you the Curve 8900 specs:
- 480×360 pixel display
- 3.2 MP camera/video with autofocus and flash
- Thinnest fully keyboard BlackBerry
- EDGE & WiFi
- GPS
- 512Mhz processor
T-Mobile Germany has gotten creative offering 6 months of free email on the device which is a nice perk.
