It IS true Alfonso. Hundreds of 8830 reports of GPS now working with ANY 4.5 (not just .101). You probably have to turn it on in GPS Options (default is 911 only) and may need to do a battery pull. It only works with Blackberry Maps though, no other free apps can use GPS yet (LBS is all controlled by Verizon's servers).

Installation went smoothly, on my 8830 Verizon:
I heard this OS would unlock the GPS, but I guess that is not true.
Do like the New HTML

Still suffering two issues with this build on my 8830 Verizon:
1. Still no Media Player icon
2. Every time I reboot the phone, when I go into BB Messenger it tells me I have upgraded to a new device and asks if I want to notify all my contacts of a PIN update. My PIN didn't change and neither did theirs!

v.4.5.0.77 installes on Sprint 8830. Only issue after resolving the "no ring tones" issue is the videos. Some play while others don't. I get that message mdeia being played is unsuported format.

Re SheetsToGo
It's not included in the OS. It's available for free by registering DocsToGo with Dataviz, and then clicking the update software link. I did it a few days ago, all free and quick.

Installed today over top of 4.2.2.196. So far much better than any 4.5 I've tried.

Two problems:
1. Can't find my media player app though it comes up when I launch a clip from YouTube or browse ring tones.
2. Can't find SheetsToGo.

Before installing any apps I have 14M free! More than any OS I've tried on this 8830!

I downloaded and installed on top of OS v4.5.0.77 last night. So far there have been no issues, and I wound up with an additonal 2.5 MB in free device memory -- appears to be a definite improvement so far!
