Hundreds of 8830 reports of GPS now working with ANY 4.5 (not just .101). You probably have to turn it on in GPS Options (default is 911 only) and may need to do a battery pull. It only works with Blackberry Maps though, no other free apps can use GPS yet (LBS is all controlled by Verizon's servers). It IS true Alfonso. Still no Media Player icon 2. Every time I reboot the phone, when I go into BB Messenger it tells me I have upgraded to a new device and asks if I want to notify all my contacts of a PIN update. So far there have been no issues, and I wound up with an additonal 2.5 MB in free device memory -- appears to be a definite improvement so far!
