UrbanSpoon Mobile…Your ‘on the go’ local food & dining guide
This may have been out for a while but I never noticed that UrbanSpoon.Com, an online food and dining guide for most major cities, has a mobile site that you can view right from your Blackberry. Now it’s more convenient for you to find all the information you need about your city’s newest and most popular restaurants in a dash. It’s super easy, just go to http://www.urbanspoon.com/m directly from your Berry’s browser and find your city.
From there you can view retaurants by neighborhood, type of food, price, etc. Once you find your restaurant you’ll see a listing with address, phone number and varous reviews from local papers as well as menus etc. According to Urbanspoon they are the “world’s leading provider of time-critical dining data, a major division of a very important multi-national corporation, and an all-around BIG PLAYER in the multi-billion dollar restaurant information industry.” That aside, it is a neat and handy little tool to have while your out and about and looking for a place to dine.
