We told you yesterday that RIM has/had updated the native Facebook application to version1.3. Nanu just let me know that what RIM gives it can just as easily take away. It looks like RIM has yanked the updated Facebook 1.3 application. I am not even sure what was updated in 1.3…
So just in case you were wondering if it was only you…
Keep any eye out on www.blackberry.com/facebook for the update to reappear…

Why was it pulled? Was there a problem with it? I installed it, but if there are security risks or something, I’ll put 1.2 back on.

I already installed it… -shrug-
Maybe when it’s rereleased they’ll say what they changed.

It seems to me that I’m getting the hour glass less now with version 1.3. Maybe it was a memory leak fix in additional to whatever else?

I downloaded it too and it works just fine. I hope there are no issues which got them to pull it off??

it was pulled cuz it didn't really update anything and sites were flaming rim for not improving the app like how it is in the iphone
