BEtwitxr Beta – Free twitxr Client – Upload Pictures to Twitter Facebook Flickr & Picasa

Jose at BEtwitxr let me know about a free twitxr client they have released for the BlackBerry. In case you don’t remember twitxr you can read our description when we mentioned it early last month. BEtwitxr will allow you to share pictures you have taken from your BlackBerry. It lets you detail the place where you took them and include a description of what you were doing at that moment. Then via twitxr you will be able to publish them onto your favorite social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Picasa.

Right now the app is in beta and is available for the 8100, 8300, & 8800 series devices running OS 4.2+. Check out the product page at this link.

To install follow these links from your device:

8100 OTA install | 8300 and 8800 OTA install

BEtwitxr Desktop Manager 8100 | BEtwitxr Desktop Manager 8300 and 8800

Let us know what you think!

Thanks Josep for letting me know about the App before but back then it did not have an English Translation of the description.

the product page link is in Spanish.

Also I am running an 8130 with OS 4.5.0.97 and it has taken so far over 5 minutes to post the picture.

  2. Hi drumdog00,

If you go down a bit, there’s a translation into English after the Spanish description.
To speed up the upload of the picture, try to decrease the picture size to medium or small in the options menu when in camera mode. Both sizes are ok to share pictures over the internet using the Twitxr network.
Since the Blackberry Curve doesn’t have high speed connection, uploading large files (like large pics) takes ages!

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for your comments, and let us know any idea or feedback to improve the application.

    José Luis.
