sendafix001 VirtualViews just let me know that they have released a slick new application called SendAFix. VirtualViews laat me weten dat ze een gelikte nieuwe applicatie genaamd SendAFix hebben vrijgegeven. The application makes it easy to send or allow friends to request your location (GPS or cell tower) via email or SMS. De applicatie maakt het gemakkelijk te verzenden of toestaan vrienden uit om je locatie (GPS of mobiele toren) verzoek via e-mail of sms. SendAFix will determine your location based on GPS or cell towers and send a map to the recipient. SendAFix bepalen van uw locatie op basis van GPS of cel torens en stuur een kaart aan de ontvanger.

SendAFix works two ways: SendAFix werkt op twee manieren:

  • Send your location via the system wide “SendAFix” menu option by selecting a contact or typing in an email address or mobile number. Stuur uw locatie via het systeem brede "SendAFix" menu-optie door het selecteren van een contact of typen in een e-mailadres of mobiel nummer.
  • Allow users to request your location when they send an email with the subject “SendAFix” or text the word “SendAFix” to your BlackBerry. Gebruikers toestaan om uw locatie aanvragen wanneer zij stuur een e-mail met het onderwerp "SendAFix" of tekst het woord "SendAFix" naar uw BlackBerry.

    Very cool. Erg cool. And even though the wife and I have VZW I might give the free trial a whirl. En hoewel de vrouw en ik VZW zou kunnen geven heb ik de gratis proefperiode een werveling.

    I installed, but have no new icon nor is it in the menu anywhere. Ik geïnstalleerd, maar hebben geen nieuw icoon het is ook niet in het menu overal. anyone else experience this? iemand anders deze ervaring?

    Isn't that built-in into BlackBerry Maps? Is dat niet ingebouwd in BlackBerry Maps?

    BBMaps does not work based on Cell tower location. BBMaps werkt niet op basis van Cell toren locatie. It also wont let others request your location. Ook gewoon laat anderen verzoek uw locatie. Makes for a fun stalking tool. Zorgt voor een leuke stalking tool. Personally I wish RIM would incorporate location into BBmessenger… Persoonlijk wil ik RIM zou plaats nemen in BBmessenger ...
