BlackBerry Storm ‘Word Phone Edition’ ???

I was having a look for something on the official BlackBerry web site this evening and not only was I surprised to see the new Storm was a listed product now but the all new ‘Word Phone Edition’.

I know, I know. It’s a typo but I thought I would screen shoot it for you guys and girls before the correct it. To check it out yourselves just go to; Word Phone Edition

  1. I don’t get it, what’s the error in saying the 9530 is a “World Edition Phone”? The 8830 was the World Edition phone of the 8800. This is just simply the WE phone for the 9500 because it’s able to be active off CDMA networks onto GSM networks around the world.

    Am I missing something here?

  2. A story about a typo that contains a typo? Classic!

“I know, I know. It’s a typo but I thought I would screen shoot it for you guys and girls before the correct it.”

  3. (*Edit*) I see now, there’s nothing wrong with “World Edition Phone” but there is something wrong with “WORD Edition Phone”

(damn it’s too early to be checking stuff on the net…)

  4. I meant that… No, you got me. My own typo. As Andrew said, it’s too early.. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I would love a GSM Storm, but without wifi it seems not so good.

  6. Nothin’ but love for you guys. I just found the typo in a story about a typo to be humorous. Keep up the great work Greg!
