Fido Launching Pearl Flip 8220 Soon? Rogers Flip Shipping to Stores On October 29th – Release Soon After…
I just got a bit of rumor dust from our secret agent 003. Signs are pointing to a new BlackBerry coming to our boys at Fido very soon. Data training for store and customer service has also increased which may also be indicative along with a recent spotting of a red BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 with Fido branding on it.
The BoyGenius also seems to have firmed up the fact that the Rogers 8220 is shipping to retail channels starting October 29th. With a 3 year contract that will cost you $49.99. Even though the 29th is when it will ship to stores the BoyGenius still has not confirmed when the device will actually be sold at stores.
