Vodacom South Africa Officially Releases 4.5

vodacom logo Vodacom South Africa have just this week officially posted Handheld Version 4.5 for multiple devices they support on their website. Granted the code version they have opted for so far is an older code release that has been seen around on the WWW, they are required to follow Vodafone.

Unlike MTN and other carriers, they host their own download page for BlackBerry Handheld Firmware under their own web domain.

The list of devices include the following:

The firmware version they have opted for at this time:

  • Package Version: 4.5.0.81
  • Applications: 4.5.0.55
  • Software Platform: 2.7.0.68

    Boo! No 8320. Doesn´t matter though. I already have 4.5.0.93 running and it is sweeeet! Best RIM OS yet for the 4.5 line.
