Frankly, tried BeamReader and it hang opening a (simple) file RepliGo did it easily. Cerience were quite responsive and nice with the beta testing so you can report them about problems and they will fix it soon. I would chose RepliGo any day over BeamReader.

I tried Repligo Reader and it seemed ok. Some documents opened ok, others either did not open or looked somewhat messed up. I like BeamReader much more. It is still in free beta and I’m going to wait for it to be released.

dbltap: Before you write it off, contact Cerience support, and, if possible, provide them a copy of one or more of the files that “failed to open” along with device info (including OS version, etc.). They have been extremely responsive during the beta program. I am guessing that all of these files might use a single yet to be supported image compression format. By any chance, are all of the files from a single source?

I tried to open 10 different PDF files from 16-30 pages in size. All of them failed to open. Doesn’t look ready for prime time yet.
