astrasync4 Jeorge let me know that AstraSync that Jeorge laat me weten dat dat AstraSync we mentioned before we eerder genoemde has finally been released. eindelijk is uitgebracht. AstraSync is essentially a Microsoft ActiveSync client for BlackBerry. AstraSync is in wezen een Microsoft ActiveSync client voor BlackBerry.

It seems that while AstraSync works FLAWLESSLY with your blackberry it has some very major drawbacks. Het lijkt erop dat, terwijl AstraSync werkt moeiteloos samen met uw BlackBerry heeft een aantal zeer grote nadelen.

  • First of all, it runs on the J2ME interface, which implies some slowdown, and loss of battery life. Allereerst draait het op de J2ME-interface, die enkele vertraging betekent, en verlies van de batterij.
  • Second of all, it does not sync with your messages box, so you only get notifications from the program.  The icon doesn't change when you have items waiting in your mailbox, and the red light does NOT flash when you have new messages that are unread.   • It does not sync tasks or notes, but I can't think of any ActiveSync devices (that aren't windows mobile based) that do. Het is niet sync taken of notities, maar ik kan niet denken van een ActiveSync-apparaten (die geen Windows Mobile gebaseerd) dat wel doen.

    I see this being useful for businesses but like mine most have BES already. Ik zie dit is nuttig voor bedrijven, maar als het mijne de meeste hebben al BES.
