All about GMail
Seasoned users may find this boring, but the Blackberry is getting new enthusiastic users every day. If you’re one of them and don’t know much about GMail in your Blackberry, here is your chance to know everything about it. This Web site Google Tutor is supposed to teach everything you want or need or might not even want or need to know about Google, and they recently started a Blackberry category. How much they will be able to write about that involves both Google and the Blackberry remains to be seen, but so far they do have two articles that could help a lot of newcomers:
- How to Manage Gmail on Your Blackberry Using the Gmail Application: how to get and install and use the application. Personally, I prefer to configure my GMail account as just another POP3 account since the stock Blackberry Mail application is better IMO, but the article also specifies advantages and disadvantages. You be the judge.
- 9 Steps to Syncing Gmail with Your Blackberry: like I said, I think just configuring a GMail account as a regular mailbox through BIS is better to me. This article explains how to do it and also has something to say about IMAP. Again, advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. These articles are good!
