Larry let me know about this cool mobile version of BeatTheTraffic.com that gives you free access to a wealth of information. I don’t know how many of you use the desktop version of the site but the mobile version is nice and clean.
It offers you:
- Maps of traffic patterns (like Google Maps traffic)
- Routes with delays and incident reports
- View all the incidents on major roads
- View traffic camera still screens
Check it out at www.beatthetraffic.mobi and let me know what you think!

For the D.C. area it shows a good portion of where most people live. But for me, it doesn’t show enough of Rt 66 in Virginia to help me. It will be good for the “incidents” it lists.

@Phreqd:
LOL! We must be neighbors as I was just going to say the SAME thing!
There for a while I had all the I-66 trafficland cams bookmarked but I lost them in an OS load/reload/upgrade somewhere and since I work from home now I never got around to figuring them out again.
