Google Talk & Windows Live Messenger 2.1.37 Released

bbscreen[189]Thanks to quite a few of you who sent this in! It looks like RIM has updated their IM applications to version 2.1.37 from 2.1.33 that we had before. In typical RIM fashion there is no change log so please report back with any changes!

  1. Hmmm..I went from .36 to .37 :/

  2. Did you notice that their Yahoo! Messenger client is ALSO version 2.1.37? AND did you notice that once installed, you can link contacts in your Messenger Buddies list to entries in your Calendar?

    Don’t know where that information is kept – other than on your BlackBerry! I don’t see it in my Outlook Contacts on a BES.

    Yeah, version .37 is also out for yahoo messenger.

    WLM loads on to my Orange Bold with no problems and I finally have WLM now!

  7. Seems to be a problem with the new aim client. Only get new messages when I refresh the list. Very annoying. Did anyone upgrade the aim client and have the same problem? I would no recommend upgrading

  8. Same problem here with AIM Shawn….I only get new messages when I refresh the contact list.

  9. no wifi support wish few of the bb app work on wifi wen u are out of range of mobile network.

  10. I noticed that with .37 of Windows Live Messenger, that Your Chat Icon follows, but the personal message doesn’t change. I had to manually update mine after I upgraded. It seemed to retain the previous message.
