Vodafone UK Storm Free With £35 Plan & 18m Contract

35820_BlackBerry Storm2_LRNow this makes me jealous of our friends across the pond. Tashanna let me know that according to the Times Online Vodafone UK will be offering the Storm free with a £35 tariff and an 18 month contract. Beat that Verizon!

Now if only the Vodafone Storm would have supported AT&T or T-Mobile 3G we would have been happy with an unlocked one. Sadly both the Verizon & Vodafone Storms only support 2100Mhz UMTS/HSPA 3G which means they wont work on AT&T’s 3G (850Mhz & 1900Mhz) nor T-Mobile 3G (1700Mhz).

Why does the US always have to be different…

  1. Will there ever be a variant of the Storm that would be compatible with T-Mo USA?

  2. I recently started using a premium email to phone service provider http://www.enotifyme.com – I can receive and flag urgent emails to forward to me as a text message or call me on a landline phone and playback the message by text to speech. Works smoothly and it’s a hosted service so no setup on my end…
