Realtors To Get eKey Support For BlackBerry
I know that many BlackBerry toting realtors were happy when RIM finally added a camera to certain devices but another upcoming solution should entice even more to the BlackBerry fold. DavidB let me know about a post on BBNews highlighting a upcoming BlackBerry solution for retailers. We heard about eKey for BlackBerry back in May with a promise that it would be available in late 2008. Looks like RIM will deliver on that promise.
Essentially an eKey is a box on the front of realtor properties that opens up to give access to the key. You needed a Palm device with infrared to open the fob before but soon that will change. There will soon be a bluetooth to infrared accessory for BlackBerry.
This will interest such a small portion of readers so I wont go into further detail. Check out more information at BBNews.
