When Brad told me that Profiler was updated I was surprised to find that we have never mentioned it on BerryReview. Lorsque Brad m'a dit que Profiler a été mis à jour j'ai été surpris de constater que nous ne l'avons jamais mentionné sur BerryReview. (I could have sworn we did) Profiler is a application that lets you schedule your profile to switch based on a time of day. (J'aurais juré que nous avons fait) Profiler est une application qui vous permet de programmer votre profil afin de passer basé sur un temps de la journée. You can setup up to 16 of these rules to switch. Vous pouvez configurer jusqu'à 16 de ces règles à commutateur.

The main caveat with this application is that it cannot change the profile if your Berry is locked, holstered, powered off, or you have a IT policy forbidding keystroke injection. La mise en garde principal de cette application est qu'elle ne peut pas changer de mode si votre Berry est verrouillé, étui, hors tension, ou vous avez une politique d'interdiction de l'injection IT de frappe. The cool part is that if your device is locked or in a holster the application will vibrate letting you know it needs to be taken out of the holster and then the profile will change. La partie est cool c'est que si votre appareil est verrouillé ou dans un étui de l'application se met à vibrer en vous avertissant qu'il doit être retiré de l'étui et puis le profil va changer. Not the best solution but the only one allowed by RIM's API. Pas la meilleure solution, mais la seule autorisée par l'API de RIM. Not bad for an Pas mal pour un application going for $9.95 application vont de 9,95 $ . .

    It's a real shame that this app can't change profiles while the handset is locked. C'est une véritable honte que cette application ne peut pas changer de profil tandis que le combiné est verrouillé. That would be the whole point for me. Ce serait là tout pour moi. Profile changing when I don't remember to get my phone out and do it myself. Profil change lorsque je ne me souviens pas d'obtenir mon téléphone Parti et de le faire moi-même.

    Having said that, I tried the trial of this app just now and it works great! Cela dit, j'ai essayé la démo de ce soft en ce moment et il fonctionne très bien! The vibrating alert to remind me that it's trying to change profile (if my handset is locked, for example) is good. Le vibreur pour me rappeler que c'est d'essayer de changer de profil (si mon appareil est verrouillé, par exemple) est bon.

    I am still waiting for a location aware profile switcher though Je suis toujours en attente d'un profil d'emplacement de manœuvre est cependant à noter :)

    I walk to the library, and my phone knows and switches me on to silent. Je marche à la bibliothèque, et mon téléphone connaît et commutateurs moi sur le silence.
