Our Secret Agents have tipped us again to code version 4.5.0.93 for the 8110, 8120, 8310 and 8320, Seems like there was just a delay in releasing this version after the 8100 and 8300
You can pick up this version at the below links:
8110: http://www.mediafire.com/?w2nqgyay2d2
8120: http://www.mediafire.com/?eedn2olmyd3
8310: http://www.mediafire.com/?1mtkgi3wigm
8320: http://www.mediafire.com/?mtdnygyjwaj
As usual these are not public releases versions so there maybe some issues, if any, So please comment back to us on your experiences.
Thanks to our Secret Agents for Rocking our World once again.
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Wow. That was quick.
4.5.0.81 has slowed my berry to a crawl. I need an upgrade!

The other links haven’t been taken down, something’s wrong with the clickable redirects. I copied and pasted the text for the 8310 link into a new browser tab, and am downloading now.

Just D/L’d and upgraded for my 8320 TMO, and everything seems to be working so far. Not noticing any differences yet. Upgraded from 4.5.0.64.

For this and the last update Desktop Manager does not upgrade my device OS. I believe a way around this is to clear my whole device and trying then. Does anyone know how to do that? Does anyone want to talk me out of doing that? 😛

@Secret Agent 001: I trying everything to get the update to .81 working. Same thing with .93. I did clear my device, and then as I had hoped Desktop Manager said it would update my 8230 to .93. I have it now on my 8320 and doing fine 🙂

What do you mean by “clear the device”? I’d rather not do that. I can’t get my DM to recognize the upgrade either. I’ve got an 8320 and I’m trying to go up from .81. How do I go about clearing the device?

Sam, I would try re-attempt the upgrade, ensuring that you only have the code you want installed. If there were any errors during the initial update, pls advise.

Sam, if you had not done a ‘backup’ first then look in My Documents for a loaderbackup, this may have something. Cannot remember myself, its been ages since using one of those. I always do backups before updating.

there is an ongoing bug in the media player. i have about 20 metallica cd’s and 20 ozzy cd’s ripped. i can see all of the songs in song view, and all of the albums in album view, but if i switch to artist view so all i see is albums from one artist, 7 to 10 of the albums don’t appear in the view. i’ve asked a few people to confirm this with their devices but so far nobody has replied back. Its not on my end. i ripped all from origianl cd’s using dbpoweramp, all using the same settings, including album art. Wma and mp3 act the same. i’d tags look fine.
