Viigo Project Tango Gets A Small Version Jump – No Changelog
October 7th, 2008 by Ronen Halevy
Eric let us know that Viigo has updated their project tango release. It looks like the version went up from 3.0.225 to 3.0.246. I am still getting hourglasses and all but I am a bit of a version addict… Install if you think it might help.

from what I can see or interested in rather…they’ve added an option for NBA sports blogs. STILL NO NCCA Basketball though!!!
Hi Kimberly – We’re currently working on some more sports scores and schedules, and will make them available in Viigo as soon as they’re finalized (and as soon as the season starts). I think NCAA Basketball begins in November, so we should have something by then.
If you have some suggestions for good NCAA Basketball coverage I’d love to include them in the app. Please email your suggestions to feedback@viigo.com.

Thanks Jesse for clearing that up. Any idea what the version bump was for?
Hey Ronen. Here’s a quick and dirty list of what’s new since V. 3.0.225:
Functionality
- Re-enable Alert notifications
- Allow opening of items when Description is empty, so that it can then be opened in the browser
- When viewing item, always default menu to Full Article
- Corrected the 4.0 version launch failure
Appearance
- Place OPML channels (e.g., Google Reader) below main channels, not above
- Show Google Reader separator
- Correctly handle channels with similar group names
Performance
- Correct some causes of application “freezing”
- Various memory optimizations
Jesse, do you know when the private beta will be upgraded?
Too bad podcasts were removed. Hope that will eventually come back.
