BlackBerry Bold Advertisements Going To Waste?
First Randy sent in the small tidbit that RIM has been presenting the 2008 MLB Playoffs on TBS. Could this have been setup previously for the exclusive Bold release on AT&T? Seems like a waste of time/money now…
Then Neil sent in this tip Kevin found showing Madonna on tour with RIM sponsorship. The funny part is that the sponsorship is to promote the Bold that has not even been released yet on AT&T. You can read about how the Bold is exclusively available (not yet) from AT&T at the Madonna microsite www.blackberry.com/madonna. You can even download some great wallpapers for your Bold that AT&T does not exclusively sell yet.
This fits in perfectly with co-CEO Mike Lazaridis confirming that AT&T has delayed the Bold due to meticulous testing to ensure 3G works unlike the iPhone. Maybe AT&T should have me join the rigorous testing process with my Rogers branded Bold running better than my old 8310 on AT&T…
