Verizon BlackBerry Storm Slides Leaked – Quadband EDGE

Chris @ Engadget Mobile managed to score the slides from a Verizon National Account Manager training session. It is pushing the “WOW” factors of the upcoming BlackBerry Storm. Nothing new on the release date but there are some great details especially the quadband GSM. Anybody hear “unlocked Storm?”

  • CDMA EV-DO revision A
  • Quadband EDGE AND 2100MHz HSPA
  • VGA+ 3.25 inch screen with a 480×360 res screen
  • Visual voicemail – post launch
  • 1GB onboard and 8GB MicroSD card included!!!

    Great specs.

    BUT, lacking WiFi and an “at launch” app store, there is a big hole in the boat that VZW/RIM don’t seem able to fill to truly go “head to head” with the iPhone and the gPhone.
