With the popularity of Facebook Chat this was the obvious next step. Met de populariteit van Facebook Chat was dit de logische volgende stap. Turns out that Facebook chat is now compatible with the Jabber protocol meaning that it can be connected to using a Jabber client. Blijkt dat Facebook chat is nu compatibel met het Jabber-protocol betekent dat het kan worden aangesloten met behulp van een Jabber-client. This means that BeejiveIM and IM+ should now be able to connect but no promises. Dit betekent dat BeejiveIM en IM + nu moet in staat zijn om verbinding te maken, maar geen beloftes. If they don't already work they probably will support it soon… Als ze niet al werken ze waarschijnlijk binnenkort zullen steunen ...

I have not been able to find a ton of details on this but Ik heb niet in staat geweest om een ton informatie vinden op deze, maar eBuddy already supports Facebook chat eBuddy ondersteunt reeds Facebook Chat . You can pick up the eBuddy client with Facebook chat at .     I can't get eBuddy to work. Ik kan niet eBuddy te werken. I have an 8320 with 4.5.0.69, and eBuddy tires and tries to connect after I've install it and no connection works. Ik heb een 8320 met 4.5.0.69, en eBuddy banden en verbinding probeert te maken nadat ik het heb geïnstalleerd en er geen verbinding werkt. Any suggestions? Suggesties?

    Bah, got my hopes all up. Bah, ik heb mijn hoop al op. They announced jabber “support” back in May. Ze kondigde jabber "support" terug in mei. Until they release server/login info… Tot ze vrijkomen server / login info ...

    While the eBuddy app for BB will not work on my 8320 (can't connect) I was successfully able to chat with Facebook friends via the eBuddy web portal. Terwijl de eBuddy app voor BB zal niet werken op mijn 8320 (geen verbinding kan maken) Ik was met succes in staat om te chatten met vrienden via Facebook eBuddy webportaal. I didn't think you could do that, but you can login to Facebook chat, see your contacts, write them, and the page reloads fast enough for you to carry on a conversation. Ik wist niet dat je dat kon doen, maar u kunt inloggen op Facebook Chat, zie uw contacten, schrijf ze, en de pagina herlaadt snel genoeg voor u om op een gesprek. I'm not so sad the app didn't work. Ik ben niet zo treurig de app werkte niet. Apps take space, while web chat does not. Apps nemen ruimte, terwijl de webchat niet.

    I have a pearl and it won't connect either. Ik heb een parel en het zal niet verbinden niet. I guess it's something temporarily not resolved yet. Ik denk dat het iets tijdelijk nog niet opgelost. I'll check it out in a couple of days. I'll check it out in een paar dagen.

    There are some setting you will need to edit before BB allows the app to connect to the internet. Er zijn enkele instelling die u moet bewerken voordat BB staat de app om verbinding met het internet.
    Go to options – Advanced Options – Applications. Ga naar opties - Geavanceerde opties - Toepassingen.
    Highlight eBuddy and press the BB button (with 7 squares on it) and select to edit permissions. Markeer eBuddy en druk op de BB-knop (met 7 vakjes op het) en selecteer machtigingen bewerken.
    Select connections and put all on allow. Selecteer verbindingen en zetten alles op toestaan.
