Storm Surges Its Way Onto VerizonWireless.com

Ok there are way too many ways that we could make jokes or bad puns with the name Storm. Anyway, Verizon Wireless posted a page early yesterday for the BlackBerry Storm. After only being up a short while, Verizon plucked the page away. Some suspect that RIM asked (read forced) them to pull the page. Yet less than 12 hours later the page reappeared, this time for good (we hope).

Basically the page does little more than collect your information and promise to keep you informed as to the product launch. However, you can bet that if you stay tuned to BerryReview, we will let you know long before Verizon sends out it’s announcement ;-)

If you would like to check it out and sign-up for info anyway, head on over to www.verizonwireless.com/storm

The Storm is one of three devices soon to be made available through a masterful marketing plan initiated by RIM incorporating a 3g querty, flip, and touch screen handhelds…while incorporating features consumers are clamoring for.
In the past week or two the authors of several well respected programs have announced Blackberry versions are coming soon.
RIM has also begun actively developing it’s 3rd party development.
All of which will in fact maintain RIM’s position as the preeminent smart phone manufacturer on the planet.
