Vlingo 1.1 Officially Out Of Beta

vlingohomeNote: This update was just released yesterday bringing version 1.1.014797 to 1.1.0.15.

Vlingo just sent me an email that they have officially released Vlingo 1.1 which fixes many of the issues users were experiencing. This is an official release of the Beta we told you about previously. Just as a reminder Vlingo is a free voice controlled application that lets you send emails, open applications, search the web, and more.

You can pick up the upgrade or download Vlingo for the first time at this link.

Anyone figure out how to send messages via BB Messenger rather than SMS with this?

I upgraded already and my version is now Version: 1.1.0.15000b4.3. With the “b4.3″ does not seem to be out of Beta yet…

Hi does anyone now if you can change the colour fonts on your blackberry. If not RIM I think this would be a good idea for the new phones… Hint hint….RIM

  4. FYI — the “b4.3″ refers to OS v4.3 build, not beta.

  5. I absolutely agree with font color changing idea. One of the main reasons I bought my Blackberry was because of being able to increase the font size and to add colour would be the best.

  6. @visortgw: Well that wasn’t immediately clear because I am running 4.5. Makes sense now. Glad the 4.3 build has no hickups with 4.5, but support for BB messenger and GTalk is needed.
