If you install it let us know how it works in the comments.
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Slightly better battery..better browsing..better memory management, improved 3G calling, and BT strangely seems louder, but the BT thing may just be my imagination lol

Hi, I am running a Bold via Telstra Australia, I have downloaded the latest version without a glitch and it is running beautifully. It has solved my dropping in and out of 3G blackberry mode, probably the biggest frustration I was having….

I installed this but I get a weird popping noise from the speaker when the phone alerts, or even when I roll the trackball around

Steve – I think the problem you are having is linked to what I am seeing.
All standard ringtones get deleted when I upgrade to .147 or .150
Has anyone else seen this or know a fix for it?

Z, you may to use this code rather: http://www.berryreview.com/2008/10/08/os-460167-for-the-bold-found-online/
To install you need the desktop manager that comes on the CD with your BlackBerry. You need to install this first and then install the handheld firmware. Once that’s done in that order, open the desktop manager and launch the Application loader, that’s if the desktop manager does not prompt to update when opened. If it does do this follow the prompts.
