Freddie asked me a question last week and no matter who I asked I could not get a good answer. Freddie vroeg me vorige week een vraag en geen kwestie van wie ik vroeg kon ik niet een goed antwoord. He basically asked me if there is a way to set where a new application icon shows up on your homescreen. Hij vroeg me eigenlijk als er een manier om in te stellen waar een nieuwe aanvraag pictogram geeft aan op je startscherm. He found that every time he installed a new application it would show up in the same spot which he deemed to be the wrong spot. Hij vond dat elke keer als hij een nieuwe applicatie geïnstalleerd zou worden weergegeven op dezelfde plek waar hij geacht te zijn de verkeerde plek. He wanted to change the default location to a better place. Hij wilde de standaard locatie te wijzigen naar een betere plek.

I tried to do some digging and asked some friends and came up with nothing. Ik heb geprobeerd te doen wat graven en vroeg enkele vrienden en kwam met niets. So I thought it could not hurt to crowd-source the question. Dus ik dacht dat het kon geen kwaad om menigte-source de vraag.

Does anybody know how to set the default icon location for installed applications? Weet iemand hoe je de standaard pictogram locatie voor geïnstalleerde toepassingen set?

I am beginning to think that it is just arbitrary but who knows. Ik begin te denken dat het is gewoon willekeurig maar wie weet. This might be some setting in the Plazmic theme builder or it may just always put the icon before the camera icon like it does on my Berry. Dit kan enige instelling in de Plazmic thema bouwer of het kan gewoon altijd het pictogram gebracht vóór de camera icoon zoals het hoort op mijn Berry.

    The location of the icon installed to the device can be defined by the software developer. De locatie van het pictogram geïnstalleerd op het apparaat kan worden gedefinieerd door de software ontwikkelaar.
    I quote from the Java JDE: “(…) Type a number from 1 to 255, where 1 is highest priority and 255 is lowest priority. Ik citeer uit de Java JDE: "(...) Typ een nummer 1 tot 255, waarbij 1 de hoogste prioriteit en 255 is de laagste prioriteit. “. .

    - So if you type 1 then the icon will be in the upper left corner. - Dus als u type 1 en vervolgens op het pictogram in de linkerbovenhoek. If you type 255 then the icon will be at the end of the ribbon-view. Indien u type 255 dan op het pictogram wordt op het einde van het lint-view.

    But I doubt that it is possible to set this number for any application you install. Maar ik betwijfel dat het mogelijk is om dit aantal vast te stellen voor elke toepassing die u installeert.

    Thanks for the answer Fabian. Bedankt voor het antwoord Fabian. Is there a standard default? Is er een standaard standaard? because on my device the new application icons always show up in the same place… Always the wrong place and it screws up my icon arrangement want op mijn toestel de nieuwe toepassing pictogrammen altijd op dezelfde plaats ... Altijd de verkeerde plaats en het schroeven mijn icon arrangement : (

    No, there is no standard default. Nee, er is geen standaard standaard. If you enter 0 then it is the default. Als u 0, dan is het de standaard. But Ronen, it is not suuuch a big deal to move the icons, is it Maar Ronen, is het niet suuuch een big deal om de iconen te bewegen, is het ;-) ! !
    Is it not maybe sorted by Name? Is het niet misschien gesorteerd op Naam? Just a guess. Just a guess. Ok well at PalmOS it is. Ok goed op PalmOS het is. BlackBerryOS is different. BlackBerryOS is anders. We'll see maybe another reader can help us further! We zullen zien misschien een andere lezer ons kan helpen verder!

    Interestingly, on a Bold, they all go to Downloads folder. Interessant, op een spannend, ze gaan allemaal naar Downloads map.
