LogMeIn Rescue now offers remote support for BlackBerry

LogMeIn is one of my favorite remote access software companies. They have announced right at CTIA Fall 2008 the support for remotely accessing Blackberry devices. LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile will be the first on-demand service that supports Windows, Mac, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and BlackBerry.

With the addition of BlackBerry remote support, LogMeIn Rescue now provides comprehensive, multi-platform support for computers and smartphones. LogMeIn is used by support and IT organizations worldwide to manage and maintain desktop, laptop and mobile devices.

Using LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile, technicians securely connect to a remote smartphone and diagnose problems quickly. It not only helps tech support teams increase their productivity, but also increases customer satisfaction. Instead spending lots of time over the phone or bouncing emails back and forth, support technicians will be able to assist customers/users right on the device.

The product is available immediately, but it has a hefty cost of $1956 per technician minimum. Still depending upon your needs, it may just be the tool you are looking for.

For more info see product pages.

  2. While B*Nator Remote Control is a nice solution, it is limited to Blackberry. I tried it out in the past and it was really very slow.
