Want a New Theme for Your Bold?

While browsing through the BlackBerryCool.com’s Blog, I found something that I thought was interesting. As most of you already know, there aren’t any custom themes for OS 4.6 (Please correct me if you know of any!) However, it appears that someone has posted screen shots of their Bold with a Today Theme as well as an L theme. I cannot swear to their authenticity, but they sure look real to me.

These images came from Howard Forums at this thread, which seems to have been closed. There are no download links for these themes. And the author has alluded that he had to do some hacking to get them to work. But if one person does it, its only a matter of time until we start seeing them pop up all over the place!

Hopefully we will see the new Plazmic 4.6 before too long ;-) Or at least leak the beta out.

    Screenshots and a locked thread are NOT worth much.

    It’s the 2nd post you make about something useless.

    It’s definitely real… I don’t know how the Howard Forums guys do it. Here’s a post of a Bold screen taken with a digtal camera showing the Today theme on the BlackBerry Bold. No screenshot an actual live image:

    3 different people posted live shots with L and Today on it.

    As for the original article in this thread… the original post on Howard Forums is NOT a locked thread, the author of the post should edit it as when I went there the thread is unlocked.
