MilkSync – Remember The Milk BlackBerry Application

I am surprised that I did not hear when this was released since I was keeping an eye on the similar alpha release we mentioned back in January. Turns out that Remember the milk released an official MilkSync client for BlackBerry with an impressive feature set. The only downside is that it is not free but it is not that expensive. To use the client you need to sign up for the Remember The Milk Pro account for $25 a year. They even throw in a 15 day free trial for you to give it a spin before you subscribe.

milksync Product Description:

MilkSync for BlackBerry is an application that synchronizes Remember The Milk with the built-in Tasks application on your BlackBerry. Features include:

  • Two way synchronization (or optionally RTM to BlackBerry, or BlackBerry to RTM)
  • Scheduled synchronization (e.g., automatically sync every 15 minutes)
  • Include all lists or specific lists from RTM in sync
  • Easy access to sync via the menu in the Tasks application

You can read more about the application and download the desktop install files on the product page or you can download the free trial OTA at this link:

  1. i cant believe the nerve of them charging an annual fee to use a beta application.

  2. MilkSync is the official application from Remember the Milk and is not connected with the alpha release that you saw in January.

BBRTM is the alpha application that I developed using the RTM API which you saw back in January. Unfortunately, I have not had that much time to work on it since, but plan to pick back up on it soon. BBRTM will continue to be a free alternative to MilkSync and provide a different interface to RTM than MilkSync. I will keep you updated Ronen on any new releases of BBRTM.

  3. Thanks for clearing that up Jason. I was a bit confused for a moment. I assumed as much but I thought you were affiliated with Remember the milk.

  4. Not a problem Ronen.

In the upcoming few weeks, I should have more time to work on BBRTM so hopefully I can get a higher quality release out there for people to play around with. When I do, I will be sure you let you know!

Thanks Ronen and keep up the good work here at BerryReview. It is definitely one of my favorite BlackBerry blogs out there.
