@Tonia,

Well I stand corrected, when I tried the m.google.com/mail, it gave me a page for mobile gmail, not the app, so if it works for everyone, that's great, if not, you can use the link that I posted with the "blackberry" imulator option selected in browser options.

The direct OTA link is:

http://m.google.com/app/v2.0.5/L1/BlackBerry-42/GoogleMail.jad?dc=gorganic

Hope it helps

I have tried both URLs http://m.google.com/mail and http://www.gmail.com/app with no luck

It lists the application as 1.1.0

Could someone post the direct OTA link to the latest version?

I went to http://m.google.com/mail from the BB Browser. When I selected Download, the version stamp was 2.0.5. No special URLs and no problems.

That is not the correct link. The correct link is http://www.gmail.com/app from the blackberry browser, and make sure that your browser is imulating "blackberry" instead of "internet IE" for the download.

You forgot to mention the snazzy new icon.

There are options to "make accessing my labels fast (uses more data)"; "Always use secure network connections (slower performance)"; remove the "sent from my mobile device" signature; and show total data usage per session.

Everything uses a smooth scrolling effect, too. Pretty cool.
