  1. You forgot to mention the snazzy new icon.

There are options to “make accessing my labels fast (uses more data)”; “Always use secure network connections (slower performance)”; remove the “sent from my mobile device” signature; and show total data usage per session.

Everything uses a smooth scrolling effect, too. Pretty cool.

  2. hmm, if i try to download it from it says version something

    any clues?

  3. an alternative link is and select the Gmail (download) option

  4. still says version 1.1.0 in the download dialog…

  5. That is not the correct link. The correct link is from the blackberry browser, and make sure that your browser is imulating “blackberry” instead of “internet IE” for the download.

  6. I went to from the BB Browser. When I selected Download, the version stamp was 2.0.5. No special URLs and no problems.

  7. I like the iPhone type scrool. Lol
    Everything is indeed faster.
Takes a lil bit of time to load the data wen u 1st open the app.
I will play around with it some more

  8. I have tried both URLs and with no luck

It lists the application as 1.1.0

Could someone post the direct OTA link to the latest version?

  9. I just found the problem, my device language is set to Spanish… i changed it to English (USA) and the OTA link pointed to version 2.0.5

    The direct OTA link is:

    Hope it helps

  10. This is best version of the app ever. Best email app I need also I only use gmail email accounts so its perfect.

  11. @Tonia,

Well I stand corrected, when I tried the, it gave me a page for mobile gmail, not the app, so if it works for everyone, that’s great, if not, you can use the link that I posted with the “blackberry” imulator option selected in browser options.

  12. I downloaded the application on my blackberry pearl but it won’t let me change the font size to make it bigger. Can anyone help me?
