I agree with Morthboy. Qsms is free and it does basically the same thing. I am using it now.

I never realized that it took so many key stokes (and scrolling) to text until i tried this version. It really makes it quite simple. With as much as I text, $7.50 is nothing! This is great!

They’re not quite the same. QuickText is like speed dial for texting. It goes a step further than just letting you choose from your Address Book.

there is a software called qsms that does that exact same thing for free on the blackberry forums. i have it; works pretty good.
