BluAlert – Vibrating Bluetooth Bracelet

Ashain found this funny accessory on ThinkGeek. It is essentially a Bluetooth bracelet that vibrates when you get a call. I remember a friend of mine had a pen once that vibrated when a cellphone was ringing which is more or less the same idea. You will get a laugh out of the product description on ThinkGeek.

BluAlert Bracelet – $49.99 on ThinkGeek

blualert_braceletYour cellphone is sitting at the bottom of your bag, or perhaps lost in the cavernous folds of your jacket pocket. With the noise of the environment around you, you’ll never hear it ringing. Maybe it’s your girlfriend saying she wrecked your car, your mom informing you of an unexpected inheritance, your roommate telling you that Ed McMahon’s waiting for you at your apartment with a giant novelty check, or Jessica Alba asking you out on a date (hey, it could happen). The bottom line is, when your phone rings, you had better know it, ’cause you never know who’s calling.

The BluAlert bracelet uses Bluetooth technology to buzz discretely on your wrist when your phone rings. Even in the loudest room, or the most boisterous dance-floor, you won’t miss it when BlueAlert goes off.

blualert_bracelet_additional Even better, BluAlert acts like a security device! Once paired with your phone, if it should suddenly find itself more than 5 meters away, BlueAlert buzzes. Not only will you never miss a call, you’ll never lose your phone.

  1. Hey, I would buy it if it were a watch that could show some text, like who is calling or who is sending me mail.

  2. Now if they had bluetooth boxers to when my girl called that would go off, now thats what you call an invention.

  3. I knew this would happen…
    Check out this search Randy:

Luc there is already a watch that shows some text from Fossil & Sony Ericsson I think…

  4. Nice bluetooth bracelet. does it come in different styles?

  5. Don’t know enough about bluetooth myself, can a BB be simultaneously paired with more than one bluetooth device? Would I be able to use this, and a bluetooth headset or GPS at the same time?
