The folks over at NLU Products sent me a set of the protective skins for my 8830 to try out. I will admit that I was skeptical when I first saw this product, how can such a thin membrane protect my precious BlackBerry? The Un-Boxing De Un-Boxing

I did have a few difficulties getting the membrane to wrap around the edges of my device, it probably didn't help that I decided to put it on after driving for about 6 hours… But after about 20 minutes I had it applied to a satisfactory level. After the curing process had completed, I could barely tell that there was anything on the BlackBerry at all.     Nice review, I was skeptical of buying this before so I bought a full case with a clip weeks ago. Nice review, was ik sceptisch over de aanschaf van dit voordat dus kocht ik een volledige case met een clip weken geleden. Now I know to get this for my Gphone and Javelin in the future. Nu weet ik dit voor mijn Gphone Javelin en in de toekomst.

    Have you tried BestSkinsEver? Heeft u geprobeerd BestSkinsEver? Sounds identical – even to the application process. Geluiden identiek - zelfs tot de aanvraagprocedure. What I found with them as time went on (6 months +) the adhesive on the corders started to loosen and then caught dirt and pocket lint, etc. I'd be curious to see how BodyGuardz compare in the long run… Wat vond ik met hen ging de tijd (6 maanden +) de lijm op de camcorders begon los te maken en vervolgens gevangen vuil en Pocket Lint, enz.     I was thinking the same thing about the adhesives – most skins start coming off after several months and need to be replaced purely for that. Ik dacht hetzelfde over de kleefstoffen - de meeste huiden beginnen komende uit na enkele maanden en moet puur worden vervangen voor. I'm assuming that's why you get two skins. Ik ben ervan uitgaande dat is waarom je twee vellen.

    @donpnor, I too have that issue with my 8330. @ donpnor, ook ik heb dat probleem met mijn 8330. I bought the skins from bestskinsever.com and the top 2 edges on the front face plate have started to peel back and collect lint from my pockets. Ik kocht de huiden van bestskinsever.com en de top 2 randen aan de voorkant plaat zijn begonnen met het schillen terug en lint verzamelen uit mijn zakken. But, it's only a little bit of the peeling so it's not that bad. Maar, het is alleen een klein beetje van de schillen, dus het is niet zo slecht. The other thing is that the bestskinsever.com skin doesn't cover the whole BB. Het andere is dat de huid bestskinsever.com niet het gehele BB dekken. The black edges are still exposed. De zwarte randen zijn nog steeds blootgesteld. I've dropped my BB a couple of times on concrete and have incurred some deep scratches on the black edges of my BB.     Yes, the BodyGuardz are a full skin (aside from the keyboard that is) they have nice cutouts for the camera, as well as all the ports.     Too soon yet, but as part of your “couple months” follow-up you might want to try taking some comparison photos now and then. Te vroeg nog, maar als onderdeel van uw "paar maanden" follow-up van je zou willen proberen met enkele vergelijking foto's nu en dan. Sometimes products like this have a tendency to “yellow” with age, would be interesting to know if these are susceptible.
