Josep sent me a link to a post on the RIM support forums. Turns out that Unite! has now be officially released in more languages to more locations. I guess that means RIM is finally going to do away with the IP restrictions…

Nice list, however the RIM North America site reports “file not found” when you click on the Download button.

Seems to work for me Jim. Where are you hitting the file not found error?

After going through the forms and disclaimers, I get to the page that has the download button. When I click on Download I get a page that says “file not found”. This is on the RIM US site. I have tried with Firefox and IE with the same results.

I had the same issue if I didn’t pretend to be with Cincinnati Bell, so I wrote to the RIM webmaster about this error, but never heard back from them.

@Jim
You are correct. This is very odd. As you can tell these are the official links… Maybe try a different carrier?

OK, I found this fix for downloading the software on the RIM forums site:
After the “File not found” error comes up, enter the following url and your browser should start the download:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/downloadFile

I tried it and it worked for me. Downloading now!
